Job Description This position will work in the Research and Development department to specify, design, and implement new products for the Power Connector / Grounding Solutions product line. This position will work with the engineering, product management, marketing and sales groups to understand customer requirements, develop innovative solutions and implement the solutions into our chosen vertical markets (service provider and enterprise).

Job Requirements
Expert in Telecommunications equipment (switches, routers, optical transport, etc.) grounding requirements for both the Central Office and Enterprise (Data Center) environments
Expert knowledge of complete grounding infrastructure including installation and test practices in the environments listed above.
From a theoretical position, sound understanding of grounding's contribution to proper equipment performance (and it's damaging effects if executed improperly) and the ability to translate that understanding into best-in-class grounding systems and innovative new product designs.
Knows and uses specs such as: NEC, J-STD-607-A, BICSI TDM manual, GR-1275-Core, GR-1089-Core, TR-NWT-000295, NFPA780, ANSI I.313-1997, ANSI/TIA/EIA 222-F
Must also have good theory background in grounding (high frequency grounds, etc)
Seeks out and seizes opportunities, goes beyond the call of duty, finds ways to surmount barriers

* Bachelors in Engineering plus 2 years of EMC or related electrical engineering experience or MSEE degree plus 1 year of EMC related practical training experience
* Prior EMC and SAR design experience with wireless handsets is a plus

SUMMARY
EMI / EMC / Telecom-Wireless Test Engineer for client electronics systems undergoing evaluation in a test laboratory. Candidate will perform compliance testing per national and international standards [CE, VCCI, IC, ANZUS, BSMI, ETSI, FCC, MIL-STD, etc..], will evaluate system design concepts, and will write system EMI / EMC / Telecom final test reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's or Bachelor's degree (A. Sc. or B. Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related area from college, university or technical school with a min. two years related experience in EMI/EMC qualification testing. Equivalent employment experience will be considered.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and / or governmental regulations. Ability to write EMI/EMC/Telecom technical reports (using MS Word) that are submitted to cognizant authorities and clients. Possess the ability to present information concisely and effectively and to respond to questions from authorities and clients.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the normal activities in a test laboratory. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; and move test objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

conditioning (HVAC) controls related to EMC/EMI issues. Coordinate

Systems Engineers
Mid-level systems engineer to support Navy Electromagnetic
Environmental Effects and Spectrum Supportability programs.
Ideal candidate will have acquisition and/or T&E E3 experience,
preferably with some military operational background, in the
10 to 20 year range. Electromagnetic compatibility design or
test experience would be helpful but not explicitly necessary.
Acquisition management experience desired (e.g. supporting a
DoD program office), policy development a plus and joint staff
