Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Selected for 2012 EMC Symposium!

I am pleased to announce the selection of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the site for the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility. The dates will be August 5 through August 9, 2012. The EMC Society Board of Directors approved the selection of Pittsburgh at its November 2007 meeting.
The Board of Directors first heard the presentation proposing Pittsburgh at its August 2006 meeting. A subsequent presentation was made at the July 2007 meeting. Mike Oliver of MAJR Products Corporation and Chair of the new Pittsburgh EMC Chapter presented the proposal on the Pittsburgh site The David L. Lawrence Convention Center will be the Symposium venue and the Westin Convention Center Hotel will be the host hotel. I hope you will join me in wishing Mike and the crew from the Pittsburgh EMC Chapter much success in their efforts to produce a world class event.
